What is MSA?

Maximize Speed & Agility Training is a sport specific training program for individuals of all ages and athletic abilities. A personalized/group program can be developed for individuals, schools, groups and teams. MSA also organizes and implements training camps, speed and skill development, for competitors in all sports and various levels.  
 
Vision
Our vision is to develop athleticism in sports participants and create teams and individuals who succeed in their athletic endeavors. Through this MSA aims to foster more than just athletic technique, but to also build leadership skills and promote work ethic, sportsmanship and teamwork.

  • First eighth-grader to win the 100 & 200 meter dash at the Kentucky High School State Track Meet
  • Named Kentucky Male Track Athlete of the Year for four consecutive years
  • First Freshman to win the Triple Crown in Track & Field
  • 1987 National Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year
  • As a quarterback led Paducah Tilghman Football to the State Finals his sophomore, junior and senior years
  • After his junior year, he complied 15 gold medals in track and field. Never lost an event at the state tournament
  • Named High School Track All-American
  • Named top 100 football players in the nation
  • In 1990 signed a scholarship with University of Louisville
  • Played in the 1990 Fiesta Bowl
  • The Spring of 1992 transferred to the University of Kentucky
  • For University of Kentucky started at Wide Receiver & Tailback
  • In 1993 named team captain and played in the 1993 Peach Bowl
  • In 1994 graduated with a double major in Social Work & Kinesology and Health Promotion
  • In 1999 named Tilghman’s Head Track Coach
  • Since then they have won 6 straight State Titles (2000-2006) Coach of The Year 6 years in a row
  • Currently being nominated for 2006 National Gatorade Coach of The Year
  • Coached 25 individual State Champions in Track and Field
  • Trained Mr. Golf, Regional single and double tennis champion, KY State Runner-up in doubles tennis
  • In the past year, trained 7 different organized teams (i.e. Football, Basketball and Soccer)
  • Head Football Coach for Tilghman High School
